Elmore Court Wedding photographer- Chris and Kelly’s wedding
Meeting Chris and Kelly
Finally the day arrived. Chris and Kelly’s Elmore Court wedding. Chris & Kelly booked my services back in October 2014. I had to wait until July this year before meeting them at Matt & Clarissa’s wedding (also at Elmore Court). Chris & Kelly kept it low key, but at the very end of the day came running over to introduce themselves to me. What a delightful couple!
The big day
I met Kelly and her crew at Fringe Benefits in Gloucester City centre. The bridesmaids and mum were in great spirits, no doubt feeding off Kelly’s unlimited energy! Gloucester itself was also bouncing with the Rugby World Cup build up – a great atmosphere (sorry Joanne). It was going to be a wonderful day.
Off to Painswick Church
After a quick visit to Kelly’s mum and dads, next stop Painswick Church. I caught up with Chris outside the church. He too was in great spirits, but of course a little nervous. Perfectly normal! Luckily he had great support from his friends, family and ‘Super Andre’ (the best man).
The ceremony was entertaining, with the vicar injecting even more energy into this supercharged wedding.
Elmore as always looked stunning. I wonder how many of the guests were taken aback as they drove down the long drive. Of course, Elmore Court looks good in any weather, but today, Chris and Kelly were blessed with a glorious sunny day.
With no time to spare, it was time to take Chris & Kelly off for some portraits in the grounds. This part of the day in some ways is the most relaxing part of the day for couples. A little time to think about the day so far. For Chris and I however, we first had to persuade Kelly that she would look more fetching minus a mouth full of scotch eggs. “Can we go that way for the photos – via the food” she said. Bearing in mind this sentence was spoken with a mouth full of Scotch eggs, from this moment on, Chris & Kelly were known to me as the ‘Scotch Eggs’
A wonderful couple, a wonderful location, a wonderful day
If you were lucky enough to attend Chris and Kelly’s wedding, I think you will agree that it was a truly wonderful day. It has been an absolute pleasure to meet Chris & Kelly – you really are a great couple. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of such a special occasion.
Just a few words before you get to the pictures. Thank you Andre for all your help and thank you Joanne (my better half) x.
Ooooo. One last thing. You can read even more about Chris and Kelly’s wonderful wedding on the Elmore Court web site.
